National Racing Museum & Horse Racing Hall of Fame

Location

Saratoga Springs, New York

The National Museum of Racing originally opened its doors to the public on June 2, 1956, in New York City. Eventually relocated to its permanent home in Saratoga Springs (NY), the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame celebrates the sport of horse racing. The museum has undergone several expansion projects since its opening, the most recent in 2020 when the new Hall of Fame Education Experience and The Paddock Gallery opened to the public. The $20 million project includes a new immersive signature film and state-of-the-art interactive Hall of Fame plaques for all 478 inductees.
